1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website (kraftxlab.com) or engaging KraftX Lab for engineering, prototyping, or software development services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

2. Scope of Services

KraftX Lab is a multi-disciplinary engineering studio specializing in hardware design (PCBs, embedded systems), software development (cloud architecture, IoT pipelines, applications), and mechanical engineering (CAD, prototyping, fabrication consulting). The exact deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any client engagement will be governed by a separate, signed Statement of Work (SOW) or project agreement.

3. Intellectual Property (IP)

We maintain a flexible and collaborative approach to technology development:

• Design Usage & Media: KraftX Lab retains the right to utilize design concepts, baseline architectures, structural layouts, and general methodologies developed during the project for future engineering projects and promotional media (such as portfolios or case studies), provided that no client-confidential information, proprietary business details, or sensitive schematics are disclosed.
• Client Rights: The Client receives a perpetual, unrestricted, royalty-free license to copy, modify, manufacture, and sell products based on the deliverables developed during the engagement.

4. Payment Terms & Retainers

Fees for our services are defined in your specific project quote. Standard engagements are billed via milestone payments. For ongoing support, firmware maintenance, or continuous R&D efforts, clients may subscribe to optional Lab Retainers as outlined in our service agreements. All payments must be made in full according to the terms specified on our invoices.

5. Professional Standards & Disclaimer

We execute all designs, hardware engineering, and software builds in accordance with high industry standards. However, since physical systems and custom hardware require thorough real-world testing, KraftX Lab provides prototyping and engineering services on an "as-is" basis for research, development, and validation phases. Final certification and compliance testing (e.g., CE, FCC) for production units are the responsibility of the client.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall KraftX Lab, its directors, or its employees be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of our prototypes, designs, or software.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
