Redoubt — Network Security Platform

Redoubt is a next-generation, Linux-based network security platform engineered to replace and surpass legacy firewall appliances such as pfSense and OPNsense. Built on a modular, containerized architecture, it unifies stateful firewalling, deep packet inspection, intrusion detection and prevention, threat intelligence, identity-aware access control, encrypted traffic handling, ML-powered anomaly detection, incident response workflows, cryptographic auditing, and network infrastructure management into a single, cohesive platform. The roadmap is six phases over 18 months, aligned to the SSCP and CCNA certification domains. Phase 1 (Foundation) is complete — Redoubt today already runs as a viable pfSense replacement on bare-metal Linux.
